Do the current calculators upload my financial data?
No. The current calculators run locally in the browser and do not submit financial entries to Budget Toolkit.
Budget Toolkit is designed with privacy-first principles and local browser processing whenever possible.
Plain-language summary: Budget Toolkit is a static website of lightweight calculators. The current tools run in your browser, require no account, and do not ask for a bank login. Your calculator entries are not intentionally uploaded to Budget Toolkit.
You may voluntarily enter numbers into calculators, contact the site by email, or use support links. Calculator entries are processed in your browser by the current tools. If you email Budget Toolkit, the information you send is handled by your email provider and the receiving mailbox.
Please do not send account numbers, bank statements, tax slips, government identifiers, passwords, or highly sensitive financial documents by email.
Many tools operate entirely in the user's browser using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For the current calculator tools, financial numbers entered into forms are not submitted to a backend server, stored in a database, or intentionally uploaded to Budget Toolkit.
Some future tools may require limited external services or optional integrations. If that happens, the workflow should be disclosed clearly before users rely on it.
Budget Toolkit may use browser local storage for convenience features such as remembering the light or dark theme. Browser storage may be used for future save features only if clearly disclosed. You can clear local storage through your browser settings.
No external tracking scripts are included initially. Analytics may be added later to understand page usage, performance, and errors. If added, this privacy policy will be updated.
Budget Toolkit links to external services such as The Print Lab Chronicles and Buy Me a Coffee. Third-party websites have their own privacy practices. Future tools may use third-party services only where the workflow is explained and appropriate for the feature.
This website may include affiliate links, sponsorships, or advertising in the future. If added, such relationships will be clearly disclosed where required.
No advertising scripts are included initially. Third-party advertising or analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies. This privacy policy may be updated if such services are introduced.
Budget Toolkit may link to external websites, official sources, support pages, and related tool projects. External sites are outside Budget Toolkit's control, so review their privacy and security practices before sharing information with them.
The website owner is not responsible for losses, damages, or decisions resulting from use of the tools, calculations, outputs, or content provided on this site.
This privacy policy and disclaimer may be updated periodically as website features, integrations, analytics, advertising, or affiliate relationships evolve.
